Last year's Christmas Party was held on Sunday 25th November. The event included a visit to Father Christmas, tea for the kids, a grand raffle draw and new entertainment this year from Cuddles the Clown. Well done to everybody involved - we raised £1355 for the unit!

Charity organisers of the Loco Gringo Stomp nights hosted a fancy dress Halloween edition in November at The Star pub in South Harrow, featuring a raffle draw and music from various DJs. They kindly donated proceeds to Cherubs.

Gill's Marathon Run for NNU

Gill Foran ran the Flora London Marathon on 22nd April this year and raised £1300 for the neonatal unit. Her son Oliver (pictured) was cared for on NNU in 2001 after being born at 33 weeks.

Champions Sponsored Swim Fundraising for the Unit

Champions Swim School held a Sponsored Swim to raise money for NNU. Swim school owner Lynda is also proud grandmother to twins Evie and Edie who were cared for on the unit recently.

The swim raised around £2500 for the unit - well done to everyone involved!

James Bond Event raises £6500!

Thanks to Rebecca and Steve Chamberlain who raised £6500 for the unit with their James Bond Themed party. Their son Chase was cared for on the unit 4 years ago.

Many thanks also to Iris Ellis who who is fundraising for us at the South Ruislip Sainsburys where she works, and to 4 Street and Northwood nurseries who are dedicating their fundraising week to Cherubs. We are so grateful for all of your support!

Cherubs receives LOCAL health award from GlaxoSmithKline...

In November 2006, Cherubs was awarded a £1000 award by GlaxoSmithKline to recognise initiatve and hard work in health care and the community. Cherubs parents Sue and Karen, neonatal nurse Lauren and unit manager Suet Mei Yoon went along to receive the award...

£1700 raised at 2006 Christmas Party!

Our Cherubs Christmas Party 2006 was held on Sunday 26th November. This year's event featured a children's entertainer, Santa's Grotto with presents for the children, face painting, tombola and much more.

Many thanks again to all who came along. The event raised £1700 for the neonatal unit.

2006 Summer Funday raises over £2000!

Our Summer Funday was held in our new, bigger outdoor venue last year and luckily the weather was on our side! Music was provided by Hillingdon Hospital Radio while local families enjoyed the bouncy castle, fire engine, police car, face painting, craft tent, cake stall, mobile farm with ponies, barbecue and many other games and activities. We were lucky to have the girls of the Hickman School of dance performing for us and even letting us join in!

Many thanks to all who helped out at, and attended the Funday. A great time was had by all and we raised a fantastic £2000 for the neonatal unit.
